When we moved from Ukraine to Victoria in 2024, we fell in love with the pace of Island life, the coastline, and the incredible quality of things being made right in our neighbourhood. How a Backyard Visitor Named Our Business
We are often asked where the name Fat Squirrel Gifts came from. One afternoon, a particularly bold squirrel sat in our backyard and literally chattered and screamed at Kyrylo. That noisy little squirrel made her point clear: it was time to stop planning and officially launch the business to keep her happy.
